Listen to Obituary

Rose Neyhart, 98, of Clarks Summit passed away peacefully on Tuesday in the care of Allied Services Hospice Center, Scranton. She was preceded in death by Cyril, her husband of fifty years.

Born in 1925 in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Katherine Cirigliano. Educated in the New Jersey Public Schools, Rose went on to lead a successful and lengthy real estate career at Hinerfeld Realty in the Abingtons. Rose thought of her clients as family and loved helping them find their dream home. As a member of the Waverly Community Club, Rose enjoyed her affiliation with the Gourmet Club, where she and other members hosted monthly dinners at their homes. Rose liked cooking and entertaining family and friends. She excelled at playing Contract Bridge with her friends and remained active in several card groups into her 90's. Above all else, Rose loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; her family brought her the most joy and she loved interacting with them whether in person or via Facetime.

Rose is survived by a son, Edward Neyhart and wife Mary Louise, Waverly Township; daughter Lesley Nothdurft and husband David, Clarks Summit; grandchildren Amanda Degenhardt and husband Ross, Covington, Louisiana; Julia Neyhart, Bradenton, Florida; Kaitlyn Lubin and husband Max, Clarks Summit; David Nothdurft and wife Kamille, Clarks Summit; Megan Felser and husband Evan, Clarks Summit; and Matthew Nothdurft, Clarks Summit; great grandchildren Sadie and Ada Degenhardt, Louisiana; Solomon and Levi Lubin, Clarks Summit; Ezra Felser, Clarks Summit; and a sister, Ilda Morell, Toms River, New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent "Jim" Cirigliano and a sister, Anna Liewant.
