Rose Marie Rubner, South Abington Township, unexpectedly passed away on Monday evening in Dickson City. She was the widow of Raymond Charles Rubner, who died in 2010.

Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Nazzarino and Rose Carey Tomasetti. She was a graduate of Old Forge High School and served her family as a homemaker. Rose was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Parish and enjoyed word puzzles, doing laundry, and enjoying time with her family.

Surviving are a son, Raymond Rubner of Clarks Green; daughter-in-law Tricia Rubner of Waverly; grandchildren Audrey E., Sophia R., and Margot E. Rubner.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond and Larry; and sister Maralda Gavin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 am at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 South State Street, Clarks Summit. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 5 pm to 7 pm at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
