Rosemarie Fritz

Rosemarie Fritz, Layton Road, Justus and formerly of Allentown, passed away on Wednesday, June 7 at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. For over 58 years, she was the dedicated and loving companion of Jack Dakey who died on May 3, 2023.

Rosemarie was a kind and compassionate person and a caregiver to many people. She also was an accomplished artist, avid collector of antiques and, with her companion Jack, enjoyed doing antique shows, with their booth titled, "Fritz and Dakey."

She loved animals, especially cats, and looked forward to tending to them each day - always welcoming new arrivals.

She is survived by her caregivers, Robert Reynolds, Gary and Mary Masters; along with many good friends and neighbors on the hill in Justus.

A graveside service will be held at the Valley View Cemetery in Scott Twp. on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
