Ruth A. Fowler

Ruth A. Fowler, 80, of Mehoopany passed away on Thursday January 6, 2022 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Fowler, Sr in 1993. Born in Montrose on November 10, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ruth Balliet Hollister. She is survived by sons, Don, Jr. and wife Joyce, Danny Fowler, and Jeffery Fowler and wife Denise; daughters, Donna Taylor and Tina Wells and husband David; brothers, Burton and Winston Hollister; sisters, Sarah Grinnell, Alice Severcool, Joy Severcool, and Sandra Carson; 27 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Fred Fowler; sister, Janie Hollister. Family and friends are invited to attend Ruth’s funeral service which will be held on Friday January 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Pastor Charles Bishop presiding. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
