Ruth Ann Petrini Griffiths

Ruth Ann Petrini Griffiths, Carbondale, died on August 11th at Geisinger, Scranton.

Born in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roy E. and Ruth Samenfink
Petrini. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a welder for the Luger Wire Co. before
retirement. After retiring, she enjoyed volunteering at the St. Francis of Assisi Soup
Kitchen.

Surviving are a son, Robert Joseph, Seneca Falls, New York; two grandsons, Nicholas
and Jacob, Waterloo, New York; a brother, Richard, Carbondale; numerous nieces and
nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Roy.

As per Ruth's request, there will be no viewing. A private service will be held for the
family.
