Scott Zimmerman

Scott Alan Zimmerman, 62, of Mehoopany passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the Embassy of Tunkhannock. He is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Karen Zimmerman in 2019.

Born on December 13, 1963, in Scranton, he is the son of the late Donald and Mildred (Bray) Zimmerman.

He attended Tunkhannock High School. In 2014, he and his wife relocated to Virginia Beach and embarked on a new chapter by founding Safepro Auto Glass, an auto glass business. This business became a testament to their hard work and commitment until Scott decided to return back to Pennsylvania in March of 2026.

Scott enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, and riding motorcycles, particularly cherishing his time on Harley Davidsons.

He is survived by his daughters, Amanda, Stephanie; son, Willard; grandchildren, Jacob, Maggie Mae, Tyler, Benjamin, Ella, Charlee; great grandchild, Alaina; several siblings; several other family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by brother, Russ Zimmerman. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Compassionate Care Hospice and the Embassy of Tunkhannock for their care of Scott.

As per Scott's wishes, there will be no funeral services.
