Sharon Ann Martin, 71, passed away on Tuesday evening at Mountain View Care Center, Scranton.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James and Eileen Reeves.  She was a faithful servant of the Lord and attended Our Lady of the Snows Church.

She was loved and cherished by many people, including her son, Brian Martin, daughter-in-law Michelle, and grandchildren Natalie, Evan, Elena, and Elise, all of New Freedom, Pennsylvania; her brother Barry Reeves of Sicklerville, New Jersey; her brother James Reeves and sister-in-law Marsha Reeves of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, and their children Jason, Allen, and Brittany.  She was also cherished by her brother Kevin and sisters Eileen, Maureen, Jean, and Rosemary, as well as nieces and nephews.

Sharon was a long-time participant in the LIFE Geisinger Program of Scranton, Pennsylvania, where she formed many lasting and meaningful relationships.  Her friend Theresa, who was a guiding force for over ten years, had a profound impact on her life.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 South State Street, Clarks Summit, with services by Msgr. Joseph G. Quinn, pastor. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.

Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
