Steven Craig Antosh, 72, of Mehoopany passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at home, in the arms of his loving wife of 28 years, Karen Antosh.

Born on April 4, 1953, he is the son of the late John and Phyllis (Fassett) Antosh.

Steve was a 1971 graduate of Tunkhannock High School. He continued his education at Keystone and Williamsport College. Steve was a skilled boilermaker and contributed his talents in the service department alongside Ace Jurista. He had a fulfilling career as an electrical engineer, having worked at Procter and Gamble for over 31 years until his retirement in 2016.

In his leisure time, Steve was a nature lover and enjoyed a variety of hobbies. He found joy in gardening, practicing tai chi, and maintaining a keen interest in mechanics. An avid golfer, he spent many afternoons on the green, often cheering for his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles. His love for music was expressed through his guitar playing, and he cherished the tranquility found in fly fishing and hunting.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, David Antosh (Danielle), Daniel Antosh, Chris Markunas (Filza); grandchildren, Chase, Croix, Cohen, and Chloe Markunas; siblings, Cathy Wendolowski, Harry Antosh, Micheline MacDonald (Bob) and ten nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Patricia Kowalski and John F. Antosh.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

A future public Celebration of Steve will be held in the spring.
