Stewart Phillips

Stewart Phillips, 76, of Tunkhannock passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center.

Born on June 7, 1947 in Springville, he is the son of the late Donald and Frances (Chrisman) Phillips.

He was a 1965 graduate of Elk Lake High School. Stewart also served his country with honor in the United States Airforce.

Stewart dedicated many years of his life to working as a truck driver until his retirement. He was a proud member of AA for over 30 years.

He found joy in hunting, appreciating the beauty and serenity of nature while participating in this beloved pastime. Additionally, he loved the sense of freedom that came with riding his motorcycle along open roads or cruising on a snowmobile across snowy landscapes.

He is survived by daughter, Victoria Phillips; brother, Donald Phillips; sisters, Bonnie O'Neal, Barbara Mayers (Gerald).

Family and friends are invited to attend Stewart’s celebration of life which will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00AM from the Springville United Methodist Church, 12112 PA 3004, Springville, PA 18844.
