Susan Kay Brown

Susan Kay Brown, 72, South Abington Township, passed away on November 2, 2024 after a brief illness.

Susan was born on October 11, 1952, daughter of the late Keith A. and Cathryn M. Brown.   Susan was a graduate of Abington Heights High School in 1970, then went on to study art at Marywood University.

Her first job was at So-Fro Fabrics in Scranton in 1974.  In 1979 she joined Eckerd Drugs as an assistant manager where she worked till her retirement.

Upon retirement, she spent her time with her favorite hobbies and activities: reading, walking, knitting, crocheting and crafting.

She is survived by a sister, Cathryn M. Brown; a brother, Kurt Brown; niece Amanda Brown and nephew Jesse Brown.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Keith A. Brown.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday from 5 - 7 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit.
