Theresa J. Bede

Theresa J. Bede, 86, of Dalton died on Thursday at Allied Hospice, Scranton.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Louis M. Bede, Sr. and Theresa C. Bede. She was a graduate of both Dalton High School and the Lackawanna Business College. Prior to retirement, she was employed by AT&T as a paralegal. She attended Our Lady of the Abingtons parish.

Surviving are two brothers: Louis and wife Judy, Spring Valley, OH, and Paul and wife Joyce, Dalton; and a niece, Shawna Ertel; and nephews Jason and Gerrod Bede.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Marion Bede.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 4th at 9 am at Our Lady of the Abingtons, 207 Seminary Road, North Abington Township, PA 18414. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery.
