Thomas Wesley Edwards

Thomas W. Edwards, 75 of Tunkhannock, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 24, 2022, at his home in Tunkhannock. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice Fronduti Edwards.

Tom was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on April 19, 1947, he is the son of the late Donald and Mildred Edwards.

Tom was a graduate of Dallas High School and earned a master’s degree at The University of Scranton. After graduation he first worked at the United Rehabilitation Services Workshop in Tunkhannock. He then was the Wyoming County Clerk before serving the 44th Judicial District as a Juvenile Probation Officer. His last job before retirement was working at the Wyoming County Communication Center.

He was an avid hunter who has traveled across the country with his friends hunting many varieties of game. Tom was a lifetime member of the Factoryville Sportsman Club where he served as president for many years. On Wednesday nights you can find him playing cards with his friends. He also enjoyed traveling to see his nephews in Alaska.

Tom also loved fishing with his Grandson Aidan and Amy's Dad Bill. He adored his granddaughter, Alison, and was always very proud of all her accomplishments.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Adam (wife Amy) and Nathan; grandchildren, Alison and Aidan; brother, Rick; sister, Joan; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend Tom's celebration of life which will be held on Saturday August 27, 2022 from 1:00-4:00 PM at Triton Hose Company, 116 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
