Thomas Kintner

Thomas Shawn Kintner, 66, of Tunkhannock passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Allied Services Home Hospice, Scranton.

Born on December 15, 1957 in Tunkhannock, he is the son of the late Milford and Mary-jane (Burke) Kintner.

He was a 1975 graduate of Tunkhannock High School.

Throughout his career, he worked as a heavy equipment operator and heavy equipment mechanic. Later on in his life he worked at Shalata Landscaping where his skills were invaluable.

He had a deep passion for hunting and treasured the times spent exploring nature's beauty. Additionally, Thomas found joy in being an avid car enthusiast. His favorite among his collection was the iconic 1969 Suburban - an automobile that captured the essence of his love for vehicles.

He is survived by his sons, Tighe Holliday, John, Thomas, Zachary Kintner; daughter, Sarah (Kintner) Humble; brothers, David, Timothy, Richard Kintner; 11 grandchildren; former wife, Ellen (Coones) Kintner.

He is preceded in death by his son, Alexander Kintner; brother, Roy Kintner.

Funeral services will be held privately.
