Listen to Obituary

On January 12th 2025, Timothy Ward Redfield entered eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after leaving an undeniable impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him on earth.

Five feet tall, fiery red hair, and at times a temper to match, Tim was hard to miss, but it was his personality that left its mark on those around him. Charming, witty, and a thunderous laugh described him well, not to mention his mischievous streak.

To know Tim, was to know a friend, and because of that, he had friends all over the country, most likely the globe, from all walks of life. With a giant heart and a fierce loyalty, Tim cared deeply for those he loved.

Throughout his life, Tim faced challenges most people will never understand, but that certainly never slowed him down. On occasion, he would appear (unbeknownst to his family) on the local news--because Tim had a knack for knowing where the action was--and an uncanny ability to get himself there.

A monopoly enthusiast, collector of movies, and a formidable rummy opponent; Tim kept his family and caretakers on their toes.

He loved food and laughter (sometimes partaking in both of those things at times he probably shouldn't), but he enjoyed them most at opportunities to combine and share them with those that he loved.

To say Tim will be missed is more than an understatement; just as attempting to describe him, merely scratches the surface of his larger-than-life personality.

He is survived by his brother, Christopher Redfield (Roberta), nephew Matthew (April), niece Leah (Jim), three grandnieces, Ruby, Violet, and Gabby and a grandnephew, Hudson.

Services will be private with arrangements entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
