Violet Abusuwan Sadaka, 78, of Clarks Summit, formerly of Lebanon, died peacefully June 30th with her family by her side at Allied Services Scranton Hospice Center after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Violet was an RN with a Bachelor's degree in nursing from American University of Beirut. Her husband, Elias Sadaka, preceded her in death in 1993.
She was a kind, fun, loving, and generous person who lit up a room with her eyes and smile. Widowed at a young age, she still managed to help four children through college and beyond.
She sacrificed so much for her family without compromise and always said "my greatest success was having four beautiful children and four beautiful grandchildren". She will be dearly missed.
Surviving are son, Ron Sadaka and wife Melissa, Olyphant, her three daughters, Dr Ronda Sadaka, Clarks Summit; Dr Rania Sadaka and husband Dr Dave Kupperman, Ardmore; Rita Sadaka, Vetnor; two grandsons Nathan Sadaka and Gilberto Arias; two granddaughters, Alexa and Kate Kupperman; a brother Joseph Abusuwan, Beruit; and a sister Vivian Abusuwan, Quebec .
Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in tribute in her name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, michaeljfox.org.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
