Wesley R. Tolley

Wesley R. Tolley, 67, of Carbondale, died on Friday March 13th at Hospice of the Sacred Heart - Dunmore.

Born in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Wes and Anne Tolley. He was a 1976 graduate of Carbondale High School and, prior to retirement, worked at New York Susquehanna & Hudson Railway in 1986, then finished his railroading career at Delaware & Hudson Railway. He liked fishing, watching NASCAR every Sunday, and loved to be up at Blueberry Hill with his good friends Timmy & Nancy McDonough. A thank you also to Glenn and Lonnie Slick for their support and companionship.

Surviving are sons Robert Tolley of Carbondale, and Casey Tolley of North Carolina; daughters Clara Kelly and husband Brett of Greenfield, Sarah Fulkerson of North Carolina, and daughter and caregiver Cora Tolley and companion Joshua Novobilski of Carbondale; grandchild Paisley Cox; sister Margaret Ciesielski of Carbondale, Maryann Bortz of MN, Ann Luparella of Florida, and William Tolley of Florida.

He was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Tolley; and siblings Jack, Tommy, Ricky, and John Simon; and brother-in-law Tom Ciesielski.

Family will receive friends and neighbors at 1 Rock St. Carbondale, PA on March 21st, 2026 from 12-4pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
