Willard Thomas Murray Jr., Newton Twp., died the evening of Thursday, December 1, at his home. He was the widower of Mary Ann Cummings Murray.
Born in Rome, New York, he was the son of the late Willard Thomas and Grace Brown Murray. Will made a living as a truck driver and was a member of the Teamsters. After his retirement, Will stayed active as a driver for NEPA Auto Auction. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Will had a passion for the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a jack of all trades and knew how to fix just about anything. His time was best spent in the company of family and friends, especially with his beloved granddaughter, Courtney.
Also surviving is a daughter, Tina; aforementioned granddaughter Courtney Ruseskas and her husband, Caleb; brother Brian Murray and his wife Tracy; sister Dawn Miller and her husband Bill, among many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his fiancée Ann Marie Padrusnak Serkosky, whose family he loved as his own; Ann Marie Hakki and her husband, Fad, and their daughter, Anissa, who he also considered his granddaughter.
A memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
