William Green

William E. Green, 89, of Tunkhannock passed away Saturday April 1, 2023 at Community Medical Center, Scranton. He is survived by his wife Doris Frantz Green.

Born in Ransom on August 22, 1933 he is the son of the late John and Evelyn Rosencrance Green.

William worked at Bartrons John Deere Supply for many years and retired from Procter and Gamble. He enjoyed working in his woodshop, camping, fishing, and hunting.

In addition to his wife he is survived by son William Green and wife Holly; daughters, Shirley Howell and husband Jerry and Nancy Daubert and husband Arno; grandchildren, Connie Charles and husband Tim, William Green and wife Melissa, Daniel Howell, Tracy Sherwood and husband Shane, Jeremy Daubert and wife Jen; step granddaughter, Becky Dymond and husband David; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be private with interment in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
