William L. Koepke

William L. Koepke Jr. 40, of Tunkhannock died Friday, January 21 at Geisinger CMC in Scranton. He is survived by his wife of 10 ½ years Renee McCaffery Koepke. He was born on September 1, 1973 in Tunkhannock son of William L. and Dolores Gurdak Koepke, of Tunkhannock. William is a 1993 graduate of the Tunkhannock Area High School and a 1999 graduate of Mansfield University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. William was a Staff Sgt. Serving with the 109th Army National Guard out of Kingston. He completed a tour in Iraq as part of a military police unit guarding bases and convoys. He is survived by a son and daughter Jack and Ella, and a sister Heidi Koepke, all of Tunkhannock, his mother and father in law William and Barbara McCaffery of Tunkhannock, his sister-in-law Janet Kresge of Clark’s Summit, nephew Jaiden Ramos of Tunkhannock and niece Alyssa Kresge of Clarks Summit as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday January 30th at 11:00 AM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in honor of William for his children to M&T Bank 411 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock, Pa 18657.
