William Grant Wicks, 58, Glenburn Township died Friday afternoon at his home. He is survived by his companion of 21 years Kelly Blacker.


Born in Scranton, he was the son of Thomas William and Sue Cotter Wicks. He was an independent contractor and was a Glenburn Township supervisor for 18 years. Bill had a love of music, often playing his guitar and singing. He enjoyed model railroading and spending time with his Great Danes, Kyra and Coco.


Also surviving are his children, Anthony (Krista), Christopher and Virginia; his sister Roberta Flynn and his niece Mckenzie; mother and father-in-law MaryAnn and Thomas Coleman, sisters-in-law Karen Doran (Brian and son Thomas), Kimberly Coleman (Frank Troia), and Linda Coleman (son Nicholas and daughter Megan Derenick (Matthew and daughter Amelia).


Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 4-7 at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation on their website.
