Wilma L. Felker Winters

Wilma L. Felker Winters, 97, of Ransom, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday morning. She was the widow of Kenneth W. Winters, who died in 2016. The couple had been married 70 years.

Born in Ransom, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Marguerite Dunlap Felker. She was a graduate of West Pittston High School. Prior to retirement, she was employed in Quality Control at Topps Company. She was a member of Countryside Community Church.

Surviving are three sons Keith Winters and his wife Lee Ann, Chaska, MN, Kevin Winters and his wife Helene, Laurel, MD; Dale Winters and his wife Lori, Alpharetta, GA; three grandsons Brian Winters and his wife Melanie, Scott, and Matthew Winters; five granddaughters Shannon Pahr and her husband Doug, Kelcie, Carly, Madeline, and Kayla Winters; great granddaughters Tenley, Addison, and Reya Rose; brother Howard Felker; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by great grandson Jackson Pahr.

A funeral service will be held Friday, January 3 at 11 am from the Countryside Community United Methodist Church, 14011 Orchard Dr. Clarks Summit PA, with services by Rev. James Hollister, pastor. Interment will follow in Newton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 2 from 3 to 6 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit PA. 18411 and Friday January 3 from 10 am until the time of the service at the church.
